Self Assessments

Growing up, there were many key influencing factors that have helped shape my personal characteristics and work values. The main factors include experiences and accomplishments in school and sports, along with the most influential being my family and friends. By taking these self assessments, it helped reiterate who I really am as an individual, as it was difficult for me to pinpoint my top characteristics. Both assessment results are accurate and are listed below:

Myers Briggs Type Indicator

The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator is a self-inventory designed to identify a person's personality type, strenghts, and preferences. My results are followed:

Introvert - (17%)
Sensing - (12%)
Feeling - (25%)
Judging - (22%)

This Assessment told me that I was type ISFJ. This means I am an introvert and prefer to work on my own and keep thoughts inside until they are clear, but it was a low percentage introvert so im able to be expressive and work with others. I am also sensing which means I am real, detail oriented and practical in the way I do things and prefer to do step by step procedures. I am feeling because I care and appreciate people and their values. I am judging because I like structure in my life and I like to get things done and out of the way before I go out.

The Work Values Assessment can help you learn more about your underlying work needs and motivations, and can help you decide what is important to you in a job. My value results are followed:

Achievement
Recognition

One of my top values is achievement because that's what keeps me going and motivated. I like to set goals, and when I achieve those goals it gives me a feeling of success and personal pride. Without that feeling it would be hard to do anything in life. Another one of my top values is recognition. Recognition is also a motivational tool for me as well, because when I get noticed for my work it makes me think keep doing what your doing. I don't need recognition to work hard, but I want to work hard at what I do so I do get recognition from others.
